Brown's stories of encouragement and hope uplift those who are young and wise, free or bound. She shares her stories at schools, hospitals, churches and prisons, telling tales of the wise and unwise as well as songs of joy and sorrow. Most stories come with lessons to be learned or simply shared, but regardless of the content, it is the coming together, communing with neighbors, friends, and family that help keep communities strong and in return, the stories live on for generations to come.
